1. General Rules

1.1. All guests must provide valid government-issued identification (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.) at the time of check-in.

1.2. Guests must be 18 years or older to stay at the hostel unless accompanied by a legal guardian.

1.3. Smoking, alcohol consumption, and drug use are strictly prohibited within the premises.

1.4. Guests are expected to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in their rooms and common areas.

1.5. Any form of misconduct, harassment, or illegal activity will result in immediate eviction without refund.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1. Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the security deposit and/or first month's rent.

2.2. All payments must be made in advance as per the agreed schedule. Late payments may incur penalties.

2.3. Cancellation policies:

Cancellations made 7 days prior to the move-in date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before move-in will result in forfeiture of the security deposit.

2.4. Guests must inform management of any intended extensions of stay at least 7 days before the original checkout date.

3. Security Deposit

3.1. A refundable security deposit is mandatory at the time of booking.

3.2. The deposit will be refunded within 7 working days of checkout, subject to deductions for damages, unpaid dues, or violations of the terms.

4. Check-In and Check-Out

4.1. Check-in time: 12:00 PM; Check-out time: 11:00 AM.

4.2. Late check-outs may incur additional charges unless approved by management.

4.3. Guests must return all issued keys and access cards at the time of checkout.

5. Housekeeping and Maintenance

5.1. Basic housekeeping services will be provided on a scheduled basis. Guests must allow access for cleaning staff.

5.2. Guests are responsible for maintaining their belongings and are liable for damages caused to hostel property.

5.3. Maintenance requests must be reported immediately. Delays in reporting may result in additional charges.

6. Food and Dining

6.1. Meals will be served as per the fixed schedule. Timings will be communicated at the time of check-in.

6.2. Outside food is permitted but must not disturb the cleanliness or attract pests.

6.3. The use of personal cooking appliances in rooms is strictly prohibited.

7. Room Sharing and Guest Policies

7.1. Guests are not allowed to sublet or share their rooms without prior written approval from management.

7.2. Visitors are permitted only in common areas during specified hours and must register at the front desk.

7.3. Overnight stays for visitors are not allowed.

8. Liabilities and Responsibilities

8.1. Hriday Hostels is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings. Guests are encouraged to use provided lockers.

8.2. Any damage to property will be assessed, and repair/replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit.

8.3. Guests are required to adhere to fire safety protocols and emergency evacuation plans.

9. Termination and Eviction

9.1. The management reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest for non-payment, violation of rules, or inappropriate behavior.

9.2. Guests evicted for violations will not receive a refund for any remaining duration of their stay.

10. Amendments to Terms

10.1. Hriday Hostels reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to guests via email or notice boards.

10.2. Continued stay constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
